Translate MedTech secondment surgery: University of Bradford

Are you a researcher developing a medical technology at one of the Translate MedTech partner Universities? Do you need access to industry or clinicians to develop your technology? Are you considering a Translate MedTech secondment?

Translate MedTech is holding a secondment surgery day at University of Bradford where you can find out about applying for support and funding to develop your innovation skills or progress medical technologies towards clinical application.

During this surgery we can provide:

  • guidance and advice pre-application
  • help identifying a placement suited to your needs
  • an introduction to academics in other institutions
  • contact with clinicians
  • help to identify an industry specialist

Each session will last up to 30 minutes. Spaces are limited and booking is essential.

Translate MedTech has funding to support up to 10 secondments to enable researchers from partner universities (Bradford, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leeds Beckett, Sheffield Hallam and York) to temporarily take up a role in a complementary organisation, or to host a clinician, healthcare provider, or collaborator from industry or academia.

Host organisations can come from across the sector, and include hospitals and healthcare providers, companies, innovation teams, international laboratories, and more.

We also encourage secondments-in: for academics and researchers to host clinicians, industrialists or innovation specialists.
