Innovation Workshop: How to Develop Good Ideas in Paediatric Health

Do you have an idea for a solution to meet an unmet need in paediatric health, care and medicine? The Children and Young People’s Medtech Cooperative and the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network will be hosting an event on 27 February 2019 exploring how ideas can be developed into solutions which can be used by clinicians and patients.

The event will cover the development and commercialisation elements of the innovation journey, with delegates hearing talks on:

  • Research design and setting up clinical trials
  • Access to funding opportunities
  • Regulatory guidelines
  • Building a value proposition
  • Financial Modelling

Round table discussions will be held on the above topics, providing delegates with the opportunity to discuss areas in more detail.

You will also hear case studies outlining the experiences of innovators and companies who have developed products which respond to unmet needs in paediatric medicine, with a focus on respiratory and sleep innovations.

Attendance is invited from innovators, companies, clinicians and researchers.

Places are limited and prior registration is essential.

A full agenda will be available soon.
