NPL’s Measurement for Recovery programme

NPL is committed to supporting UK industry in its recovery by making its measurement and consultancy services available to companies, free of charge.

About the Measurement for Recovery programme

The programme can help solve analysis or measurement issues that cannot be resolved using standard technologies and techniques. Successful applicants can benefit from:

  • Access to measurement and analysis expertise
  • The ability to investigate the feasibility of concepts and validate products and processes
  • Cost reduction
  • Improved productivity
  • Increased product reliability and mitigate in-service costs
  • Advice on standards and regulatory needs

What is on offer

  • Access to NPL scientific experts and its lab facilities
  • A maximum provision of 20 days consultancy per project – this is paying for the expert’s time and facilities and not a financial grant to the company
  • Analysis, results and reports completed within the 20 allocated days are provided free of charge
  • The programme is open for 9 months from 6 July 2020 to 6 March 2020

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, you must be:

  • A UK company registered at Companies House
  • Within your de minimis allocation (less than 200,000 euros of government funding over a three-year period)
